The AI playlist assistant lets you edit a playlist by typing. You always see a plan first, and nothing changes until you press Apply. Version 1.3 changes how you work with it: it stays next to your playlist, shows what it is doing, and can repeat your cleanups for you.

Rules: requests that run by themselves

Provider updates bring back the same mess: empty groups, missing logos, channels you already hid. Now you can ask once. Start a request with when it should run, and the assistant offers Save as rule next to Apply:

  • “Every night, hide empty groups”
  • “After each sync, fill missing logos from EPG”
  • “Every week, keep only the best quality of each channel”

The Rules button lists what you saved, when it last ran and how it went. Pause a rule, run it now, or delete it. Each run is written to a Rules chat, and it can be undone like any other change.

Rules are careful by design: they cannot delete anything, and each playlist can have up to 20.

See what it is doing, and stop it

Big playlists take a moment. The assistant now shows its progress step by step while it reads your playlist and builds the plan, and again while it applies it. Changed your mind? Press Stop. Nothing is saved and it does not use a task.

Made a typo? Edit or retry your message instead of writing it again. Answers can also include Show in editor, which opens the matching channels, and suggestions for the next step.

A panel beside your playlist

On large screens the assistant no longer covers your work. It docks beside the editor, on the left or the right, and remembers your choice. The group list stays live: groups that change flash, and the group a plan worked on is selected once you apply it. On phones and smaller screens it opens as before.

EPG, one group at a time

Auto-assign used to mean the visible channels in one go. Now you can say exactly what you want:

  • “Assign EPG to the Sports group from the UK feed”
  • “Fill missing EPG ids for FR channels”
  • “Auto-assign EPG with exact name matching”

You see each proposed match with its confidence before anything is written, and channels with more than one possible match are skipped rather than guessed. The same review is available in the EPG manager.

Talk or paste instead of typing

  • Voice: press the microphone and say your request, in browsers that support it.
  • Pasted lists: paste a block of channel names and it becomes a list the assistant can use, for example to move them all to one group.
  • Favorites lists: ask for named lists like Sport, News or Kids. Each one shows first in your IPTV app.

Your daily allowance stays simple: one request is one task.

FAQ

Can a rule delete channels?

No. Rules can hide, move, rename and tidy, but they cannot delete. If you ask for a delete, the assistant suggests hiding instead. Every run keeps its undo.

How many rules can I have?

Up to 20 per playlist. A rule waits at least 10 minutes between runs, and you can pause, run or delete it from the Rules button.

What happens if I press Stop?

The request ends straight away, nothing is saved and it does not use a task.

Is the assistant on my plan?

The AI assistant is included on eligible plans, with a daily number of tasks. You can see what is left under the chat box.
