Step 1 — New import (Source)

Sign in at app.m3ueditor.com, open New import, and pick your source: M3U URL, Upload file, or Xtream credentials. Set a playlist name if you like, choose an EPG source (None, XMLTV URL, or m3ueditor advanced EPG), then click Analyze playlist.

Step 2 — New import (Choose portal categories)

On Xtream imports, pick only the portal categories you need — Live, Movies, and/or Series. The counters (e.g. 82 / 82) show selected vs total categories in each column. Fewer categories = faster import. Click Start import when ready. On M3U URL/file imports you skip this and go straight to group selection after analysis.

Step 2 — Screen: New import → Choose portal categories (Xtream only).

Step 3 — Playlist editor

After import completes, you land in the Playlist editor. Use the groups sidebar to hide or rename categories, fix logos, and open EPG for programme guide matching. Channel counts (e.g. 48 total) appear in the editor header and next to each group.

Step 4 — Distribute (Exports & serve URLs)

Open Distribute in the sidebar (Exports & serve URLs). Select your playlist, copy the Public serve URL (.m3u) and, if you use platform EPG, the EPG XML URL (.xml). Paste the M3U link into TiviMate, IPTV Smarters, Kodi, VLC, or any app that accepts a URL. Your real provider login stays in m3ueditor.

Step 4 — Screen: Distribute → Exports & serve URLs (route: /exports).

Tips

  • Large playlists: m3ueditor supports huge provider dumps — select groups first instead of importing everything.
  • EPG: Platform guides are included on eligible plans with unlimited catalogue use.
  • Revoke access: Rotate the playlist token or set an export password in Distribute.
  • Sync: Enable scheduled sync so new provider groups appear without redoing your edits.
