Spain EPG coverage
The public library reported 1,117 grouped channel names for Spain when this page was reviewed. Counts can change as sources are refreshed and duplicates are grouped. One channel name may have several source variants and EPG IDs.
Use the live Spain channel explorer for the current count, searchable names, and available ID variants.
What the coverage count means
The count describes grouped guide records in the public M3UEditor library, not streams, subscriptions, or guaranteed matches for every provider label. Several XMLTV sources can describe the same service with different identifiers, languages, artwork, or programme depth. The explorer groups similar display names while still exposing their available variants.
A higher count gives you more candidates, but it does not replace verification. Search for the exact Spain service, inspect its available IDs, and compare the current schedule with the stream in your authorized playlist. Keep the match only when the region, time, and programme data agree. If no result is reliable, leave the channel unmatched rather than assigning a convenient but incorrect guide.
How to match Spain channels
- Identify whether the stream is national, regional, or local before choosing an ID.
- Use autonomous community and language information to narrow similar names.
- Keep time-shifted or international versions separate from the domestic service.
- Verify current programmes in the expected local time before publishing.
For a short label with several Spanish matches, search by region or inspect the stream’s own station branding. The correct guide result should match both the service identity and the current schedule.
Current channel sample
This sample loads from the public EPG API and is provided to help you inspect naming and identifier patterns. Availability can change, and inclusion does not mean M3UEditor provides the associated stream.

See how to add EPG to an M3U playlist for the full matching and player-refresh workflow.
Troubleshoot a missing or wrong guide
- Confirm the playlist channel has a non-empty
tvg-id. - Check that the same ID exists in the selected guide source.
- Use the country, region, resolution, and time-shift details to choose the correct variant.
- Verify the schedule before applying a time offset.
- Refresh both the M3U playlist and XMLTV source in the player.
Display names are helpful for search, but the identifier selects the programme data. Renaming a channel alone will not repair an incorrect ID.
